Eesti Post reminds the clients that post offices will exchange not more than 1,000 euros per client per day. A security guard will be staying in the post office during the period of currency exchange.
The possibility of currency exchange in post offices is very convenient – one can exchange currency near home in the first half of January. Post offices will be open every day from 1 January – 15 January; the hours for rendering currency exchange service may be different from the regular opening hours of the post office. On 1 and 2 January, the client service centre of Eesti Post will be working at number 1661 from 11 am – 3 pm.
Euro exchange service is free of charge, the exchange rate has been fixed.
Euros will be brought for currency exchange to the post offices in the mornings, G4S will be taking money away from the post office in the evenings.
